How about going home at all? Driver, your hometime interferes with the bottom line! And don't you know your usefullness is only as good as your time on the road? The company doesn't make money my letting you go home, ya know! Its your Christian duty to work yourself to death for the boss' profit, #### you. Lazy drivers....

Well considering "I AM AGNOSTIC", and very open about my opinions, we might get along very well....LMFAO
-
Dont christians, especially Born Again's, have extreme family value's. Not letting you go home, would interfere with family time. Greed is a SIN, isnt it?
-
Greed in non-Christians seems to be a sin. Its apparently OK for Christians. Only going by what I see.
Like a crime is not a crime when committed against infidels for Muslims and Mormons... -
Im considering looking around for a company, any ideas other than prime, swift, cr england?
-
Swift is actually pretty decent for a starter outfit. Also, look into flatbed outfits. There are plenty that will take a rookie driver (PGT, Maverick, and TMC come to mind) and treat you a heck of a lot better than some of these dry van outfits.
Prime has some good and some bad from what I've seen. Looks like its a matter of personal preference.
CREngland, I won't even dignify. Convenant with Mormons instead of wanna-be Christians, and probably the worst for it.
Werner sucks unless you get onto a decent dedicated account. If you're close to Buffalo, the General Mills account is a good one to be one. Out two weeks, home two days (normally closer to three) and pay starts at .30/m. Pay ain't all that great, but there are decent miles on that account. Avoid any account with the word Dollar in the name (Dollar General, Family Dollar). Those accounts hurt drivers.
Smith Transport here in PA has a really good reputation locally and takes students so they should consider you. Based out of Roaring Spring, PA down by Altoona, PA. They do haul a fair amount of water (heavy freigh), but that's not surprising since Roaring Spring bottling company is, like, right there.
Also look for smaller outfits in your area that may be willing to overlook your relative lack of experience. Knocking on doors and pounding pavement got me some pretty decent jobs over the years. If your good enough, and have a positive enough attitude, you may find a good place in a small outfit noone else has even heard of. -

UMM ,i dont think so tim -
Mumbles6978 make of any company what you want. It's apparent that brsims and make money didn't fare well. If you have a poor attitude stay away from trucking. The hotel at Covenant is owned by Covenant and it's decent. But it's not intended to be a Marriott. We've stayed there a few times. People are nice but TV only has 3 channels. Good luck on your decision.
