There must be some kinda law against that! Hope you have it put in storage and not just "sittin' there!" They sure do deteriorate quickly when sitting. . .
One sweet flatbed setup !!!!

SHC, did you get a look at how the bike is hung on the frame rail? Is it just a flat platform and you lift the bike up or use a ramp I guess.
-
I wish. Sitting in the garage. Pull right in looking at it every time I get home
It'll need a fuel system cleanout, new battery and 2 new fork seals at a minimum. Ought to sell it, but I'd feel bad selling it without it being fully operational. Sounds like SHC has a line on the right track: move to a place with a more affordable cost of living and enjoy life!

I have worked with that guy at 3 different companys. Calls himself Iron Horse. Lives in Ohio and pulls a step deck conestoga. He hauls machinery for Miller transfer and rigging. He's had that truck about 9 years and rebuilt/repainted it about 3 times. The wheel base is 315". For those wanting to know. It has an old mechanical Cat that he say's is turned up to about 900 HP.
If anyone remembers an all black 359 that used to run from Chicago to Ohio a few years ago. I mean all black rims, mirror brackets exhaust pipe with header tape on the exhaust pipe and headache rack. That's the same truck. He had someone run him off the road last year and he had it redone to it's current configuration. While the truck looks nice. The black paint on the fenders and fuel tanks isn't paint it's Rhino liner. I could never figure out why he did that...Last edited by a moderator: Dec 3, 2012

Should I get my fish'in rods out?
Not a drinker of alcohol myself so I can pilot you around. LOL
Re line those rods, yah need 80 pound test down here. -
Don't forget to make it somewhere that you can ride 12 months a year. I just hate to see them sit there and go down hill. . .

I thought it may be like a lift axle, you know, flip a switch and drop it to the ground. Then put it away the same way.

That is quite a cool teeruck there in post #1.. Needs a little more chrome for me.

Theres a guy up the road from me (Columbus) that's been trying to sell his toy and toy hauler on craigslist.. Looks to be 'just a toy' as the truck appears to be missing a 5th wheel and maybe some other stuff.
I like the stance of the 2000 Pete though. Must be one very heavy Harley!

Sleeper's a little too small for me, plus the way people are nowdays, I 'd worry about someone messing with it while parked somewhere. Plus, if it rains, that thing will be a mess.
Well, my sleeper is where I sleep, also my office, clothing storage and living room. I need some space.
I need one in Black please. Sign up with Southern Pride and haul me some jet engines around.
I'd take the bike off, cut a hole in the back deck and put a polished billet 5th wheel on it and go to work.Last edited by a moderator: Dec 3, 2012
