For some reason, slim 1 just keeps repeating the falsehood that people died at 40 back when. NOT TRUE! Infections were the number 1 cause of death prior to 1946. When antibiotics were discovered in 1946, the age expectancy rose from 48 years old to 78 IN ONE EVENING! The number 1 cause of infection for adults was tooth decay. Children, on the other hand, are prone to infections because they have underdeveloped immune systems. Hence, children died far more frequently than adults from infections. When a child dies, that death is entered into that gender's longetivity rate. For example, if a 1 year old male child dies, that death is counted into the male longetivity rate FOR ALL MALES from birth to 120 years old. A large amount of dying children greatly reduce the longetivity rate. My grandma on my mother's side had 10 kids prior to World War 2. Five died before the age of 12. My grandma on my father's side also had 10 kids. Again, 5 died. If antibiotics were never discovered, about 50% of the truckers on this site would have never made it past the age of 16, possibly even slim1. BTW, blacks are not entered into the USA longetivity rates. The average black woman lives to be 52 while the average black male lives to be 48. Their number 1 killer is heart disease. The reason why they are excluded is because they would drag the USA longetivity rates down to the level of a typical third world nation. The government fears that a greatly reduced national longetivity rate would make the USA the laughingstock of the world. Thus, they are not factored in at all.

Hi cool35.... I'm having some of the same issues. I have discovered coffee is part of our problem. It causes glucose spikes and fat cells to aborb rather than burn. The science is there, and I'm searching for products that are now being developed to help turn off fat cells and help them burn what they have. been out here since '76, and it's not gettin' easier...
