I have a good sense of humour but we can discuss your credentials anytime you like! -
ENR i liked your comments, would you be interested in a set of injectors to try I will send you six injectors with new nozzles,New Delphi Actuators new Cat nozzle springs New plunger springs & Cat o rings, with no cost to yourself.
I all I ask is a honest account of how your truck performs , and any fuel savings you may or may not have.I could really shoot myself in the FOOT!!! here but it will be fun to see the results good or bad.
ENR if your interested please contact me at neil@advanceddiesel.com.au . -
part that i don't get in all this is you have been doing these injectors for years why are they not selling them self at this point in time .

For this test to be credible you need to replace the CAT injectors with your injectors of the same Size.
Replacing the 2113023s with GA nozzles that flow more than a 2113023 and flow the same as a 2113025 is not a credible comparison as you know due to the flow rate of the Tip.
For the test to be accurate you need to test with the same size Injector so ENR would need to have a set of 2113025s and test then test yours Reman.
Apples for Apples I think the saying Goes!
The only way you can compare these is on a Dyno and the fuel flow calculated by the Dyno monitoring fuel used minus fuel returned at a give load factor.
Taking out a smaller injector and putting in a Bigger injector is not a credible comparison.
Reman injectors in USA are cheap and nasty but anyone can use their old 2113023 cores for reman 2113025s and only pay @ $550 over the counter. They are not calibrated to the degree you and I can calibrate them. So they wont be as fuel efficient or as smooth running but they wont be 40% worse off LOL!! -
I thought the whole point was to go with a bigger/better injector... Maybe I'm missing something?
Buckshot7cz Thanks this. -
Looked at the advance diesel au website not much info on prices etc.

Wow. What an offer !
One I think I would have to be crazy to pass on. My operation is an excellent one to use as a test bed for these injectors. I run the exact same 740 mile run each day on the exact same roads with the exact same stops , exact same drivers ( me and another who runs the am shift for me ) fuel at the same pump at the end of each run, with the same load ( 63000 kgs or 138 600 #'s ) loaded both ways almost always. We do this at least 6 days a week.
I spent $ 178 000 on fuel last year and 5% would stick out .
I can put together 30, 60, 90 day fuel averages or show year over year.
Weather is my only real variable.
My truck already runs very well, hp is not a concern, I have a conservative bullydog setting as fuel economy is my first priority at this point. Even with no gain in pulling power pen to paper fuel mileage increase will be what I'll watch for and provide information on to the best of my ability.
I'll even provide my OPS oil sample results before and after.
If Pyrohigh believes he can improve my bottom line than I'm very interested in trying. -
Indeed, if these injectors stack up to other after market injectors will be irrelevant to me, the only injectors he has to beat are the ones Cat put in last summer during my inframe. I dropped $3000 on my Bullydog and a lot more on other modifications .. ( High flow exhaust , high flow airfilters, FASS, low rolling resistance tires, etc..) All of which pay me back.
I'm just interested in what provides a return for my money.
If there are improvements in performance and economy that can be measured at the pump than I'm happy.
If there are better options that might pay off even more so than I'm all ears ?..
