Hello, I'm still in training in Lawton, OK for my CDL with ADTS and looking forward to trying to get on with Marverick on the Dedicated run from Wichita Falls, TX (PPG). Thought I may fnd someone on here that may have some insight they can share about Maverick and these dedicated runs. I've been in Kuwait, Iraq, Afghanistan, and just returned from Saudi Arabia as a contractor. I retired from the military (US Army) in 2000 and always wanted to drive, but the contracts overseas always kept me away.

There are only something like 30 of them and I've never seen any of them on here. Basically they have two types of dedicated out of WF. The first one hauls glass loads on glass trailers out to customers within abou 500 miles and deadhead back to the plant. The others haul containers down to the port in Houstion. Both of these are good gigs.

Thank you for taking the time to reply and for providing the information. Looks as if I'll have to go to the PPG plant and see if I can talk to one of them there.

That's a good idea. You'll see all the Maverick trucks parked out front waiting for a load. This is outside of the security gate so you will have access. You could also ask recruiting if they could have one of them call you.
