Can I come to work for you so I can promptly go out of business because you think we make $2.25/mile profit on a load? Bahahahahaa!!! I'm literally laughing at you right now. I'm sorry... I can't help myself. That's rich! You evidently don't know as much as you think you do. Try working on a 5-10% profit margin, then you're numbers may be a bit closer there Super Trucker.![]()

Don't laugh too hard son. Every time I see you guys put up loads for $1.25 I laugh. And so does everybody else in the industry. Did you know it takes roughly. .70 cpm in fuel to drag your $1.25 load down the road. That's a joke. Get your rates up. Be respectable.
-
Firstly, you're not my father or grandfather... As such, I'm not your son and you will not address me as such. That said, we don't post $1.25 a mile loads. Cheapest load on my board right now pays the truck $2.68/mile. Get your figures straight. We run with the big dogs here.BigBadBill Thanks this.

Son, you got into this liar poker game a bit too late... I'm positive that you won't turn your key for less than $67.42 a mile.....
-
Irv sounds like you don't know very much about truck driving and what makes it work. Pay attention you will learn my son.UTI TRANSPORT Thanks this.

I think we can all agree that Landstar is a bunch of crooks. I am just glad that they put that big blue star on everything so I can see you crooks coming. It wouldn't suprise me if while I sleep tonight a raggedy Freightliner pulls up beside me and Henry Gerkins jumps out with a piece of garden hose and tries to suck out my diesel.

Ahh... The truth always comes out. Another bitter BCO reject. It all makes so much sense now super trucker.
-
You are not very smart are you OZR.
-
I'm trying to figure out how you make me for a BCO reject from talking about Landstar's cheap freight rates and that coked out CEO Hernry Gerkins. You don't have to post those bogus freight rates. We see them every day on ITS.
-
You are not going to find those kind of rates in the Northwest. You can get 3+ per mile if you take freight into Canada or do short runs of less than 200 miles. I have been doing business out here for 20 years and the average rate is around 2 to 2.25 per mile to the truck, cheaper if its lumber. Another issue is the fact that this area is saturated with cut-throat brokers and some large carriers who drive down the rates by consistently under-bidding just to get the customer. I live in Idaho and I do not move anything out of this area for that very reason. Most of the freight around here is agricultural and forest products which do not pay much at all unless you have maxi equipment (53 flats or 4 axle reefers).
