it is LHD truck made for Spaine. yep, later versions are with ISX, ISMe, ISLe.
One more cabover with ISX
Intercooler is located beyong cab.
Really Cabovers with ISX are rare. Engine is too tall and lond. But new ISX 11.9 fits any EU truck and seems to me will be used by ERF, ore Russian truck maker soon -
yes but why , like truck is being attached 5timmes per day , you still have to exit and hold towbar while attaching so i cant see reason for this
-
Over here it is very common in International 9800/9800i and Freightliner ArgosyWhere are they still making ERF?
-
In UK) LOL
9800i are still made in Russia and Brazil. Argosy are usually made in USA for export, some are of Euro specification -
As far as I can remember MAN took over ERF and stoped making them a few years ago.
The last ones I saw looked like TGA cabs with ERF grills , Cummins , Fuller/Eaton, Merritor/Rockwell set up.
BTW the DAF's we get here now come with Merritor axles. -
I'm not sure but they were made till end of 2007. Now they do not sell ERF baged trucks but they have some ideas to renew ERF for special purpose trucks. I do not really know
king Q Thanks this. -
really face of any truck is cabine.
some truck makers lost cab manufacturing, like ERF, Sisu....
If company makes cab and frame, they can use any engine (Cummins, Deutz, Cat, Merceses....) any Axels, any tranny. But if truck manufacter purchase cabs, it loose its business -
I suck at this ..... But if this works it's a neat vidio. Maybe it's scania man .... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_87wXbYND24
