At The Hot Rod Shop. Got in Wednesday. Stopped in Cottondale and got lubed at Speedco, then Cummins in Birmingham to pick up two cases of antifreeze. Then stopped at my domicile Agent's yard and got my 120 day inspections done.
Hubby and I took a nice drive, off the interstates, in the Suburban, for 100 miles to eat Thanksgiving dinner at the Petro Dodge City, Hanceville, Alabama. The food on the buffet was good and it was quiet in the Driver's Dining Room. No screaming rug rats, terrorizing us. Even better that Landstar paid for both of us!
Went and got him a new smartphone, today. The buttons are huge!
Tomorrow is change the oil, in the beast and drain and flush the cooling system.

    SHC Thanks this.

Sounds like a good weekend at home.
The wife and myself will be down there in January to look at a couple houses and some condo's on our way down to BCO days

Hey Cluck I tell ya what, why don't you put your truck loaded up on Uship to deliver to your first stop, maybe you'll get lucky and someone will move the whole thing cheaper than your operating costs!

    SHC Thanks this.

I have searched on there a couple times, but the loads are usually moving for less than I would consider before adding the uship fees, which are pretty excessive in my opinion. I also think it is cumbersome to contact through their site. It would be better if you could email the customer directly, but then you could arrange a deal on the side and cut them out.
