Where is everyone?

Thanksgiving has been very good. Took the whole day off on Thursday, lazy morning then went to my parents for Thanksgiving with the extended family. Worked yesterday, then had some family over to our house. It is good to have family around. Thinking I will take the whole day off again today.

How's the weather in Georgia?

I am against uship out of principle. I don't normally deal with people that purchase transportation on price alone. I guess I am a little too proud of our services. I receive emails from a used equipment site where people can request quotes for equipment they need to move. People will actually put comments out that say something like "no hurry, looking for the cheapest price." Those requests get immediately deleted.

 

I search their loads from time to time thinking I might end up getting a contact like an equipment dealer. It always seems to be individuals and their moving stuff cheap.

 

The weather here has been good. Been 6 months since I was here last...
Mom was happy to see us. She even cooked.

Talking about low bids. I called on a ld. Wens. going up to Mn.Which would put me close to the airport for the 3rd. 3200 all in for a heavy permit ld.
Told the broker needs to come up 2 grand. Said no can do. Well the ld. is still on the board.Might call them Monday and see if they come around.
Told them I would just d.h. there and get my wife on the plane. They saw no humor in that.Hung up on me.

Called on another one yesterday. 3 pieces total, weight involed. Said can't do it. Why not well it's multi pieces. Do it all the time I hear. Said not me

 

Bout to go out and do some post black friday shopping with the woman. I simply refused to go anywhere near a store yesterday. Id rather pay full price and go to the store when its less crowded.....nothing I need to fight anyone over.

 

Enjoying this great College Football Saturday from the couch.... Ohio State won (which I hate) but it's even better because they can't play in any bowl games or championships.... Alabama is up 42-0 at halftime, and I'm waiting for the Notre Dame game tonight. As much as i don't want them to go undefeated, I'd love to see them face Bama in a BCS Championship game

 

My future father in law is a huge Notre Dame fan. The atmosphere over there is so much better now that the Redskins and Notre Dame are playing well.

 

Man I'm getting used to this hanging around the house and being lazy kind of stuff, I haven't touched a steering wheel or a tarp since Wed!

 

Was off for turkey day and yesterday and now im sittin in big springs NE heading got grand junction CO.
