Builders Transportation??

Builders Transportation doesnt treat their drivers like they are just dollar signs....I dont know where that cat was working but it definately wasnt here. There is a huge open door policy that allows you access to your Driver Manager/Dispatcher any time you need it...try that at TMC..the pay is great and, like dpwelsher stated, you will know everyone that you work with. Im not a driver number at BTC... I couldnt even imagine working anywhere else...Of course everyone has their horror stories about companies that they have woked for but, I'm telling you, this place is for real....the pay is real....the equipment is great...and the home time is definately for real....been here for a year now and I have been home every weekend...no lie. Its very rare that you can say that you have found a home with a trucking company...I have found mine...This place is my second home now...they are like family.

 

Can anyone give info on the trucks?
Transmissions,APU's,Inverters,Speed governed,Etc.

Mostly 2011 2012 2013 Mack Pinnacles, !0 speed, yes, yes(built in 120v 2012 and newer), 65mph, Qualcomm, E logs. Some 2009 2010 Freightliner Columbias

 

Looks like someone got ****canned and trying to spread trash. I also worked there for awhile, pretty decent people when I was there, nice equipment, slow but nice! Could do alot worse than builders

 

would i have too pay for my own drug test at btc? and is it a urine test or hair test?? thanks

 

No - they pay for the drug test, and it is a urine test. There are some very good people at Builders - still have a lot of friends there. They are just not the company they used to be.

 

Ok so my husband is thinking about going to btc. Do they still just do urine drug tests and do they pay for it? Also where does their orientation take place at?

 

When I was there it was a urine test, company paid. Orientation was like 3 or 4 days in Memphis
