you can. also wire rope, solid wire, plant fibre rope or polydac. chains are nice but you can use whatever has a load rating in the FMCSR.

No doubt i hear u. i have like 9 months exp now. im not gonna leave with out something else lined up. but i will look if it takes me a few more months or even more its ok becouse i want to leave with a better gig. As talking to your parents there is no shame in that bro. its good to get outside perspective from someone older that has no involment. i was ranting becouse it feels like im getting ###### from every side right now. what ever decision i make seems to blow up in my face. just a bad couple weeks that continues get worse. getting sick of the dry anal rape im getting. I have a feeling its gonna get worse before better. im at a couple cross roads profesionally and my home life is falling apart. i guess all that is left to do is say #### it and punt.

Don't know what your situation is, but I was offered some advice when I first started driving, and it was, if this job starts to negatively affect your family life, then get off the road and find something else. No job is worth losing your family over. (This advice from a man who put it off and thought things would work themselves out, only to come home to an empty house, wife, kids, gone.) Like I said, I don't know your personal situation, but this job ain't worth your family.

at the truckstop in monteagle, tn for the night staged for delivery in ATL in the AM. glad im back at this stop, some verrrrrrrry tasty BBQ at the little place next door :)

just finished my 7th day out, plan this time is stay out 36 get home Xmas eve for 7 off. hope i can handle it, cause working 5 weeks and 1 off is a pretty good ratio in my view.

also realised that for the very first time in my entire life, i do not have a job (or volunteer firefighter position) that does not allow a full beard....looks like crap right now but ive got another 30 days to see how it looks. whats that beard hair color stuff called? lmao

off to stuff myself with BBQ

Ok question guys...I am on my hometime now. I live up here in Northern WI, the high today was about 30 and its going to get down in the single's at night for the next three nights I am home. I have a 2012 prostar, that does not have the auto start feature. I have it plugged in, but not sure how offten I should be starting it, and how long I should let it idle, while at home. I know I seen something on the B-board at the terminal about it but I cant recall what it said, and the truck will only idle for 5min before it shuts down anyway, just curious if you all had any advice

Just got back from shopping to stock the truck up for the next month. Plan on staying out till Christmas, The youngest child is not happy ill be staying out so long. Only way i see being able to be home for Christmas is stay out till it. Trying to juggle a home time between than and now would just screw it up i think.
