Being in this industry I can say their will always be good weeks and bad weeks driving OTR. For local gigs in Florida, are useless for sure unless you want to take home 500 per week. But that's what I have found in Florida. Other states, depending which state it is the local gigs pay are probably better.
I would have to agree with the other posters about your co-driver. If he isn't pulling his own weight then give him the boot.

Has anyone had a bad IMDS report? Got summoned to safety over following distance ....over two months ago so I don't even recall it & the video doesn't show if the truck in front of me had slowed or /just cut in while passing ...10 dimerit

kinda upset cause I think I'm pretty safe driver 125k in last 50 weeks without incident until now -
