Here is something to read on the subject. any one considering spending that kind of money should scrutinize the product & co well. as well as NOT taking any one's comment as gospel. just good research. http://www.thetruckersreport.com/tr...uy-glider-kits-engine-etc-17.html#post2885574

I agree for the most part..... But Fitzgerald has one of the best reps in the glider industry.... no fear of ownership with these trucks, just try not to pay full retail.
All trucks will have bugs to be worked out, and statistically speaking I have heard many good reviews i.e. satisfied customers that were more than happy to get a new truck without the EGR / Emissions crap.

Very nice looking trucks. I like how they dipped the engine partially yellow too. Look's fantastic!

I don't think ALL trucks have bugs to be worked out. as long as they take care of any problems, that would be a plus. going by what someone say's on a internet site is one thing, but having a neighbor who lives 2 miles from you, that you know personally telling you of problems is another.

I have heard sone very bad things about fitzgeralds motors. They are not factory rebuild motors and they also have a fair share of problems with them.

Could you be more specific? What problems were reported? Who told you they are not factory rebuilds? According to their video, they carry warranty from their respective manufacturer. Maybe the person who bought the blue Columbia glider with S60 and tall gears can chime in...

I cant talk for cowpie1, if you search on here you will hear about problems. Also I have talked to them first hand and asked "are these motors factory remained motors and do they come with a Detroit warranty and if not can I get one that is" and I was told "No they buy motors and rebuild them at Fitz and it doesn't NOT come with a Detroit warranty they warranty it them self's" So again that means NO you cant drive or get towed in to any dealer or warranty center for Detroit and get it covered. They can to call Fiz and come to a agreement and Fiz will then pay them. That just takes more time and messing around. If I am spending that much on a truck I want a really warranty not a "well once you get it to a shop and they find whats wrong with it we will work a deal out and cover it" So unless the guy I talked to was full of BS that is the deal.
