1 year at Swift.

I'm already to start school in January, thanks for the advice Popeye.

 

I am thinking about going to Swift as well. My concern is that in 10 years, I have had about as many jobs, one lasting 6 years, one 3yrs, 1for1 year, some only a day, several for weeks or months. Is this going to be a problem?

 

What do they pay while you're with a mentor?

 

My son just got done with hes mentor, and also got hes 1st check -- $484.00 -- and that was less then two weeks, He started hes 1st week in the middle. They told him that they had started paying newbie's by the hr but he's check had .71 a mile pay showing. Now ! remember , the less amount of mentor time is 50 hrs, and that depends on how the mentor whats to spend the day with u driving. He got hes truck Tuesday and because of hes 2 yrs driving time he is at .33

 

So since I'll be a newbie I will be getting paid by the hour? Is that correct?

 

That's what -- Someone --- told the boy, SO I just now looked at a copy I made of hes 1st check and it shows ---- RATE ---- at 71.43,that's while under mentor ship
