Yes, that is financed thru them at below market intrest rates. One of the perks of being leased to them.
This is just one of many things I've been contemplating. I'm at a place right now in my life where I could do many different things, and I'm just trying to find what best suits me and my family's needs. I like being an O/O and doing platform work, but I also wonder about other ventures and then I think about retirement and such since I'm getting older and should really be planning it out now.... Who knows what the future may hold.
And the Myans might have it right and were all screwed in a few weeks lolThe Challenger Thanks this. -
They look like north east prices so don't feel bad. Do you miss your flat bed all ready.

We just bought a 2005 Fontaine Renegade 48 X 102 spread for $12k. It was even a "local" deal. Needed breaks and drums and one of the bump rails was bent, but other than that, it was in nice shape with new tires and a good sized side box with all the chains and binders still in it.
Thing is you have to be in the right place at the right time when deals like this come up. But they are out there. The Challenger Thanks this. -

Hubby's pulling it, while our other one is getting loaded. Much nicer than sitting in line waiting to get loaded. Turn and Burn now.

Just sold on 04' Strick Dry Van on Craigslist for $7,000 in Atlanta and I thought that was a fair price.... - check on Craigslist for small companies selling equipment. They tend to be a little more in line with reality. I too, am surprised at what dealers are asking these days for equipment in comparison to new.
Sometimes you have to go through a dealer....I kind of look at it as one more hand in the pot. -
I bought my 06 east step in early 09 for 29k and recently my dealer indicated its probably worth about the same right now.
