Hard to train solo though. Lol

 

at the hotel in spokane for the weekend. hopefully gettin a load monday goin to wisconsin... very happy with this company so far and hoping to get out on my own next week or so. havent seen one bad piece of equipment yet. everything is very well maintained and fairly new if not brand new. Still the honeymoon phase but hoping this is the last place ill work for for a long time.

 

I've been keeping track on your progress and hoping it keeps going good for you. I have to wait til february to try getting on with System or Melton,right now System would b my first choice

 

well i hope to see you here at system. Everything is going good for me so far but like i said im still new here. hopefully in a year or so things are still going good. but hope to see you here . Melton seems to have just as good of equipment as we do but i couldnt tell you how their facilities are or anything like that

 

Thanks Rugerfan, both companies are about the same for equipment..but System has regional and other divisions for driving that might make it easier to get better home time,anytime after 5 weeks it's good for me to come home.well i look forward to reading up on your 48 state runs . it wont be long before youre on your own and enjoy it alittle more

im still enjoying it. We did a run out to the university of indiana last week and then picked up a load in chicago and took it to the bay area and then picked up a pipe load and took that up by bremerton wa. then picked up an alcoa aluminum load in wenatchee and brought it to spokane so we get around a little but would much more prefer the regional run

 

whats the starting pay for rookies.

 

flatbed with 6 months exp is .345 and reefer is .33. idk what it is straight outta school

 

.30 for reefer and I think 10/hr detention pay.

32.5 for flat and $30 tarp

 

I have been speaking to Roxy for the last week and will be flying to System on Dec 31, 2012 for training. I have just obtained my CDL wit all endorsements Nov 20, 2012 and going into the Kansas Flatbed Division. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
