Oh thats just NOT impressive! Well, next week - I got it booked in for next wednesday to get
it hooked up as longwalker had suggested. I've tried every suggestion here.
This is a 2013 model, perhaps im just too impatient?

Just got down to southern Idaho, picked up a load of Urea in carseland, AB. gross weight is 49,500 kg's, checked mileage just now and came in at 4.9mpg, one of our 2013 trucks is with me, same route and roughly the same weight and he checked in at 4.2mpg......pretty sad

I sure hope it's a program glitch or something Sara.... :-S

I wish somebody could get Cummins or Peterbilts attention. I mean, do they even realize how many people are being told by their sales guys (or girls) that they should expect one number and the reality is much lower. Yes, I hope too that its a glitch. Its pretty easy for me to cancel my next delivery on my next Pete.

can you send that one back?

lots of Canadian numbers here
I have a 450hp cummins(2012 388 with a flat bed) and run 1450@105. I ran down south and got 8.7mpg(US) with 80,000lbs. I came back at 65000lbs and only got 4.1 running into the wind. After the wind I still only averaged 37L/100 for the trip. Sure is scarey when you see consumption of 63L/100.
My mileage would be better but I run the cruise almost all the time and governed at 105. I'm well over 300,000km and I did notice an improvement in mileage after about 150,000. I had a new alternator at 250k and they reflashed my ECM at that time- no noticed difference. Other than that stop, I have never been to the dealer for anything other than the power windows.
