Dot Foods Rules All!

I'm going in for my first interview tomorrow. In my case, it's not the pay I'm after. I'm a recent graduate and I need the years of experiance so I can go to Sysco who has an absolute one year requirement.

 

Dot foods is the company that hit and killed the Illinois state trooper near Litchfield,Il the other day. I feel for all involved including the driver.

 

NO...DOT FOODS did NOT hit and kill an IL State Trooper. The DRIVER operating a truck owned by DOT FOODS did. It's a matter of PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY. Something this country seems to be lacking these days.

 

WHAT Are you talkin about ? A wrong turn and ended up at the DOT food with a load of Autos or what ?

Well then a driver employed by DOT Foods. They own the truck and gave him a job representing them so it was still DOT Foods.

 

Did my first interview. I think I botched it. Mr. Sam asked me some not-right-or-wrong questions and stopped at the second one out of three. I'm guessing that's a bad sign. My interviewers where Mrs. Becky and Mr. Sam at the Indiana DC.

P.S. Should have worn my steal toe shoes. Had to use an orange flag to move through the warehouse.

The way you wrote the initial sentence made it seem as if DOT FOODS itself had the accident with no driver input. That was the basis of my response.

It is true that ultimately DOT FOODS will have to take responsibility for the drivers actions. That is what insurance is for.
