Yea that would be about right there is a big windmill farm out there. Be prepared for a pretty good hike off the highway tho the towers are a pretty good ways off the road.

That's my home turf. If you turn left out of the parking lot and head into the desert about 40 miles that's where I usually work. Or 30 miles south of the interstate.

Eagle Xpress t/s in stokesdale, nc. Heading to Columbus OH in am with a load of bricks in my reefer trailer. UGH. Couldn't get it to scale out right - took me 6 times of reweigh slide 5th back and forth and trailer tandems up by the tractor now. Finally got the 36k off my drives tho. Will be driving there w/half a tank of fuel. LOL.......

Effingham, IL at the Truck-O-Mat for the night...... today was a bust. Got my containers unloaded in 15min, then got my first 2 stops loaded up and then the crap hit the fan. Got to the 3rd pick and all was well till I asked them for the placards (HazMat load) and they said that they do not have any, and do not supply them. So for 20 min I explained to them that it was their responsability to supply them, but they didn't want to hear it. Then I measured it and it was 1 foot taller than they told me it was, so my tarp would not fully cover it and it was a "Dangerous when wet" load..... well, after 2 hours total they took it off and I left. So i lost out on some gravy, but wasn't worth the risk or the hassle of doing it wrong.

So off to Phoenix I go with a 10' gap in the middle of my trailer and all the weight on the ### end of it YIPPIE !!!!

I'm in Dickinson, ND for the foreseeable future. I'm hooked to my sand can instead of my step stretch tho.

Gotta love idiots that don't understand Federal law states that they must supply placards. I've left more than one load of hazmat setting on the dock and still got paid for my troubles.
