I would be surprised that they will be able to stretch that $600000 grant money 12 days.

Pretty awesome. They've done this in other states. I know Nevada has, Alabama I believe did something similar. It would be nice if they'd get up on Snoqualmie and do the same.

here we go again, welcoming the onslaught of a police state

they could do the same thing with simple Public Service Announcement commericials educating the public

dont you all remember "this is your brain on drugs"

they say if you only have a hammer, every problem is a nail

there is no need for cops to be the sole enforcer and teacher of everything we do in life

why is it, if i make a wrong turn down a street, that the state's automatic solution is to issue a fine? why is everything falling under "LAW ENFORCEMENT"

people cannot live any more without someone "calling the cops". Police are not supermen and they are not here to resolve issues, they are here to make arrests and advance their careers

The police are those who enforce the law. Therefore having them in trucks help them see what we deal with and not only enforce the laws, but educate the people on what they did wrong and how to prevent people dying needlessly. You're wrong on this EZX.

this is not going to be easy, i see

do you know that those words are used by every dictatorial govt in history?

having cops pro-actively enforcing laws goes completely against the constitution and "to serve and protect"

that crosses the line and opens the door to all types of problems

of course you feel safer now with this police dragnet around you, waiting for you to break one of their thousands of laws

and you cant complain, because when they were doing something you LIKED, you applauded them

(not you of course) but this is what it leads to

we applaud them rounding up drug dealers, but we get upset when they confiscate our taxes and computers because they "think" we are guilty of something

or they pass the NDAA laws, where they can arrest terrorists without charges or legal representation, but soon when you stand up for something they dont like, you become victim of the same laws you supported

we have created our own police state and we have no one to blame but ourselves
