Got to deadhead home tonight. They couldn't get me a load, so I'm home for the weekend. I guess it's a good thing I am pretty sick.

Finally got a load, I am now sitting at North American Stainless waiting for the guard shack to get at me on the radio.

Been with Roehl flatbed since Aug. They do stress safety but still push on times (or that could just be my FM). As for hometime she seems to lay a guilt trip on me when I remind her I would like to be home every 11-14 days. As for that there is not a lot of movement on weekends anyhow and most times I am out I end up sitting one or both days in a lot or terminal with limited "entertainment" options. I like the work but feel like I get a lot of runaround when himetime comes up. Been sitting sitting dropping load Friday with a short run that I picked up Mon and delivered Tue A.M. It is now Wed A.M. and I am still waiting. Feel like I am being "taught a lesson" for bringing up the 11-14 "gentleman's agreement." These trucks are their investment more than you, the driver, and hometime is a waste time to some FMs.

Did that a couple months back, and got "eye-rolling" type responses on Quaalcomm and phone but got home. Now, when I brought it up after being out 6 days so they could "plan" it, she responded about how if I wanted to make more $$ I needed to stay out. Told her I wanted to stick with the plan and she has left me hanging since. Today she said Roehl recommended everyone stay out til 12/22 so you could be home for Christmas, and that freight would be slow then. If so slow then hometime should not be a problem. She also says she can't allow more hometime than earned. I get the impression she is trying to impress some higher ups. Thought about going over her head but don't know who her supervisor is, and don't want to ask her as I know what that may start. Also, afraid of getting a rep that I am hard to get along with. I am not, just expect to be treated better than a "commodity". I have started the search process for other companies that may take limited experience, or I may have to look in another direction, but thanks for your reply.

Yep to that question, even if it gets me more grief.
