you can't teach driving on a driving simulator, but some of them are good at simulating the shifting patterns on inclines and after slowing down to get used to a certain engine

Glad to here your doing so well there.I'm waiting for a trainer before they take me into orientation, the reefer division.Maybe I'll see you out there somewhere.
vhughes Thanks this. -
Thanks and yea I'm sure we will. What made you want to be in the referee div?
-
A friend of mine here has a trucking co.he run reefers (about 12 at last conversation) from Cali to New York on a dedicated account. The more I looked around in here the more I liked what I heard about them.
-
You'll be out longer tho.

Kool, just what I want,I'm at home like crazy right now,not used to this.As long as I can keep my wheels rolling I'll be very happy to stay out for a while.Question for ya,do they (soon to we) do any long hauls...say from Chicago to Cali type of hauls?
-
In the refer division I have no clue. In flatbed long haul they do. But how maverick works is who ever is closer to a load or in an area will get any load. For example I like in Alabama I picked up a load in Birmingham a when to Charlotte n.c and empty there. Then they had me load in Charlotte n.c and head to New York. So you can get any load. How that answered your question.

I'm not trying to be rude here...but are you saying that "getting home only three weekends a month" sucks...or are you referring to getting home Saturday and leaving Sunday sucked?
-
NO three weekends a month is good. But only for flatbed. Refer division you will be out two to three weeks out then home. That's what sucks.but hey you got to do what u have to do.
