At the house tonight, Repo an old truck in the morning for me, had a rookie with me, we repo'ed a 2012 for him this morning. I will never figure out why the rookies get new trucks and the experienced guys get the beaters.

 

From what I heard was they used to try and give new trucks to older drivers but they didn't want them so often they just started giving them to new drivers. Older drivers knew their trucks and they didn't want to deal with "bugs" of new ones etc....

 

If i had the choice between my prostar or older '07 columbia, id rather have the columbia

 

Welcome to my world. Before I switched to flats I had a 2013 cascadia. I was the first driver in it. Then switch to a 2007 freight shaker condo. I was pissed. But I ended up liking that truck and I really love the truck I have now .

 

Agreed, I did have a Prostar when I left, plus I get tired of cleaning filthy trucks.

 

In PA at a rest area. delivering in PA then got a preplan tomorow to deliver in ct. the north east sucks but i always seem to get good miles when sent there so its love hate.

 

Dal Tile.....got to love them. Lol! You can get some good miles with their loads though. I guess that is a positive.
