DAC Sink Good Drivers

i cant say for sure, but i have heard many drivers speak of how DAC has screwed them, even OOIDA says its an unfair reporting system

and i too had no idea what this guy was talking about, it hurt my brain and eyes after the second line

 

Um.......What?

 

The company that I work for doesn't even know what DAC is. I think I'm good

 

I have a headache trying to deciphers what he was talking about. I had given up and laid down.

 

DAC only has power over the drivers because most drivers never check their report.

 

What Im about to say is not meant to be a joke or disparaging. I once had a girlfriend who wrote notes and left messages on my voicemail like that. At the time she had not been, but later was diagnosed with Bi-Polar disorder.
Whoever this person is should really consider asking friends and family (people you trust) whether or not you seem different lately.

DAC only has in it what your company or ex-employer puts in it ! I think we need to blame companies that lie or twist happenings so as a driver looks bad ! HIRERIGHT , is where you go to dispute these matters , but in my opinion all they do is call & ask the people (where one use to work) if what they said is true" they say yes & your DAC stays unchanged ! I am having this problem with a company called (GSTC) & it goes deeper than a bad claim to DAC ! I had filed for unemployment after being replaced by another small company . I received a call from the unemployment board , they asked why I was not still working for the other company . I explained what happened & they said it was hard to believe because (GSTC) sent them a file from my (Peoplesnet) that resembled the same thing that happened to me at the new company ! Funny because they could not find the message where I reported damage to a parked trailer ! So , it is the BAD companies screwing the drivers not the DAC report . Like I said they can only report what your ex-employer wrote about you !!

 

seems everyone focused more on the guys typing skills then anything... Anyway, I think that DAC in the past was really screwing it up for drivers but, they were recently sued (A Few Times) and have changed the way they list your work history. Remember, Not all trucking companies report to DAC.

And hey, if they are coming out with a new TV Show that focuses on showing people how these major carriers treat their drivers then that is a good thing. I will be looking for it....

 

Or maybe it could have the opposite effect. Maybe some less than reputable investors will watch and say.....hmmm we could make a good chunk of change and it appears as if it's pretty easy to prod the workforce.
