Conway Truckload Drivers what is your 20?

In my last 7200 miles I've only used non terminal fuel 2 times. 15 gallons and 35 gallons. This would be an even easier task to accomplish if there weren't so many freight terminals with an asterisck next to them. I don't even bother with those since I've tried 3 times and was turned away 2 and treated like crap 1.

 

Yeah, that sticks in my craw.I never noticed the amount of places we go that can't have pets.I don't take my mini pin because of it.She is crate trained, I carry a crate, she won't get out.Passengers same, places can't take passenger or kids.Not leaving my dog, wife, or kid on a street corner.So I ride alone.

 

Well... Turns out there is no Window on load my dispatch told me wrong. Got to relay in tye tx

 

Shut down at Corning ca T/A last night due to heavy rains & high winds ...ate up my clock in those mnts of Oregon & CALI with 43k of paper ...dropped load at CF then come down I-5 to Lodi Ca Flying J
pock up in AM near Oakland if they dispatch us? Maybe Qaulcoom not working well?

 

com is working i think but its taking them forever some its prob just slow today. i got tired of waiting and called them up.

 

Yea we have to pay them for the pet to ride despite not idling anymore (often times less). Actually most loads that say no pets, nothing is said about them being on the truck. Only been 2 places where it's actually enforced. Still another reason I am waiting for my next job to turn up.

 

Yeah, its a Pet Peeve of mine.

 

I'll always fuel at a truckload terminal, provided I'm not going to another con-way location that has fuel.But I won't just wheel into a Freight terminal just to fuel.Exactly, 75% of time, your treated like crap.Plus most your suppose to Bobtail to fuel, and that's another hassle.This whole one company, brick & mortar, synergy, is all a load of bunk.

 

In Joplin driver lounge waiting on a trailer with a messed up air brake line that I picked up from across the street.

 

I refuse to go into a c*sucker I mean freight yard unless I'm picking up/delivering, after incident in Memphis that cost me a 3000 mile weak.

I still say Conway is better than any other large carrier, but they are falling FAST!
