Been doing this for quite awhile (20+ years), but I still get lost, on occasion. And feel as bad, or worse, as I did when I was green.

It rarely happens in the day light of course, and rarely in an area where one could simply "go around the block". Oh no! It usually happens in the wee hours of the morning, and usually when the road is about 6" wider than my truck. And no streetlights. And the road is not marked and not on the GPS/map. Usually it is also in the fog and/or a snowstorm.

So, I just keep driving forward, hoping against hope that the road will lead somewhere I can either get turned around or find a place to park until daylite. I LOVE my chob!

Always remember, and never forget, if it was an easy job, anybody could do it. I guess that makes us special. ??

thats my favorite time to arrive at a shipper

this gives me time to get lost, turn around, back up, or whatever other joys one can experience when going to a place for the first time

any arrival time between 0001 and 0400 is fine with me

So long as I am going the direction of my destination, I am only learning new routes is all.

I never get lost. I just learn of places I don't want to go back to.
