Been doing this for quite awhile (20+ years), but I still get lost, on occasion. And feel as bad, or worse, as I did when I was green.
It rarely happens in the day light of course, and rarely in an area where one could simply "go around the block". Oh no! It usually happens in the wee hours of the morning, and usually when the road is about 6" wider than my truck. And no streetlights. And the road is not marked and not on the GPS/map. Usually it is also in the fog and/or a snowstorm.
So, I just keep driving forward, hoping against hope that the road will lead somewhere I can either get turned around or find a place to park until daylite. I LOVE my chob!
Oh Lord, I'm lost!
