No but you might get some pallets of bagged salt in KS, winter is coming after all, and there is cement to be hauled, too from there. Just a thought.
Rates maybe looking a little better...

They get you on a foreign corp doing business in the state.(PU & Del in the state creates a nexus) So now you need the PUCO. Some states it's best to register before you get caught(NJ would be#1),others just wait and see.
-
Well, don't the feds 'regulate' some state functions by threatening to withhold federal funding if the states don't abide by their rules? But I see your point.
-
That was more a joke out of frustration.

Did you read everyone of those 1,400 emails yet?
RedForeman Thanks this. -
This is a new one for me. We have CA intrastate authority and federal interstate authority. I know we can haul loads within CA and of course out of state. You all are saying if we pick up in any state outside CA and deliver to that same state, it's an intrastate load and we need a permit from that state for it (state dependent)? Am I understanding that right?
-
Again, that's up to the individual state. Good luck figuring out which ones...
-
The states that are de-regulated are AZ,CT,DE,FL,ID,LA,ME,MD,MA,MT,NE,NJ,NC,ND,UT,VT.

I wasn't meaning to say that load was good. I was just saying that I haven't seen any rates under $2/per mile. Thats all. Like I said I sure wasn't going to take it since I can make double and stay within my good freight lanes.
