Well, ya know, it's bad enough we are governed at 63 when most speed limits are 70 and getting run down and #### near run over by every other rig out there is a daily occurence but there is absolutely no balls in any Roehl truck I've had when pulling a hill under load! I've been running flatbed and now curtainside so always loaded heavy with wood or steel and when pulling a hill it's a joke! I had a 2012 Prostar and now in a 2013 Cascadia, Maxxforce in the Prostar and Detroit in the Cascadia and the old adage is true, and frustrating as hell! I truly roll over every hill last and get passed by every #### thing out there! Do they turn back the HP too?

I pass prime, swift, Crete, Werner, schnieder, etc trucks all the time heavy and light. Most that have to pay for fuel only go 55-60 mph anyway to save money just as Roehl is doing by governing us. Doesn't really bother me at all I still get good miles and pay. Horsepower, engine break and whatever consumes fuel or by it is cut down. But I don't pay for it and still get good numbers mpg wise for the company. It used to be really irritating but now I'm just used to it. 65 mph would be nice though maybe 68 pedal and 65 cruise would be great but probably after I move on one day that'll happen.

Its probably more of the Shiite engines you've been stuck with. Drive one of those with a Cummins and you'd be pulling better. Or drive and older truck with a 550hp CAT and you'd really see what a real motor will pull like:)

Same here, though while I was going through the old threads they were governed at 65 but turned back to 63, I doubt they will go back the other way.

This is my first driving job so I'm glad I have nothing to compare us with. Except an '07 Columbia to a '13 ProStar. Although I feel like a little kid when drivers tell me in Pennsylvania that they started their day in Iowa. And I'm all "##### I wish I could go that fast" Although it is nice when I go home and my '97 Ford escort can go 0 to 60 in less than 30 seconds.

Yeah and you feel like your dragging your butt on the pavement and take very unnecessary wide turns in a little car.

I don't envy you company drivers that are neutered to 62-65mph, I'd never get anything done. My truck is governed at 85, but 72 is about all I run
