    Agree....lawyer up!
    I had a 86 in a 60. Got a lawyer and it was dismissed.

Also the ticket may only be a few bucks but court cost can be 200 to 300.
Money much better spent on a lawyer.

I once got a trio of tickets in PA once for being on a restricted road among other things. The total fines were $350, only $75 of which was actual fine, the rest were court costs, state police injury fund, etc.

well i called the road law place autocar posted, talked with a person there they had advised to try to fight the ticket, told me to request for a hearing and call them back when the court gives me a court date and they would then tell me what they could do for me. so i sent in the ticket with the bond amount and requested a hearing

well tryed several times threw out the day to try to get a hold of anyone at the court house without success. its a automated answering system you can select extensions for various people for you try to get threw to a operator and it comes back saying no operators are currently available and sends you to a voice mail, i have left 3 voice mail threw out the day with no return phone call.

what i think happened is they took the bond amount and just processed it as a paid ticket vrs a request for a hearing. hopefully they will correct this mistake on there part or this will turn into a civil rights law suit.

yup, will be going threw a lawyer, they lawyer advised me to request a hearing and then call them back when i get a court date, however the court took my bond amount and processed it as a paid ticket. no hearing no court date, after multiple attempts today to contact the court to correct there error i have so far been unsuccessful at even getting a live person on the phone. I left several voice mail with no returned phone calls.

so basically at this point the court has violated my civil rights by denying me a trial. if i am still unable to contact the court in the morning to try to get this error correct i will' be contacting the lawyer again but it will be to talk about a civil rights law suit.

well a update for anyone that cares. after about a week of repeatedly trying to get a hold of the court house (willistion nd district court.) several voice mail no return phone calls. I finally sent a kinda nasty e-mail to the clerk of the district court and the judge listed on my case. basically saying that they made a error processing my ticket that needed to be corrected that i had been trying to contact the court by phone for over a week without being able to get a live person on the line or a return phone call from the court. I got a e-mail from the judge that day saying he would look into it. three days later i got e-mail apology from the clerk of the court and said they would send me a notice of hearing by mail. I now have my court date. I have been back in contact with road law, they say they have not yet handled any cases in this area and i should have a call back by the end of the day after they look into a few things. I assume that they probably have to try to find a lawyer in that area to handle my case.

yup if your going 10 over in a greater than 55mph zone $2 per mph but 15 over in a less than 55mph zone is only 1$ per mph

btw hate to speak yet but so far im happy with the service i have gotten from road law, they have been working on getting everything compiled with there attorney and had good communication with me so far. we will see how they do going forward. although they have not told me what this is going to cost me yet...lol but i really don't care as long as they are successful.
