How many trucks for lease still had the APU when you picked your truck out?

I think doing a lease purchase with any company is a HUGE risk! If it sounds too good to be true,IT IS!!

They all have APUs. Unfortunately, they consider the extra battery pack as the "APU".. so, none have APUs.

I don't consider an extra set of batteries an apu. They should've gone with TK tripacs- a lot more bang for the buck. I've had more issues with this thing in four months than I did with a tripac in two years. All these battery things are good for is satisfying the treehuggers

Does Celadon allow you to bank your HT if you stay out for a couple of months? If so, how does this work?

Only the 2013 Prostars have that electric apu with an extra bank of batteries. A few of the old Robinson trucks still have TK apu's on them, but those went straight out to Quality Leasing and Sales to be sold unless they needed to get $$$$ back out of the truck for what they put into it. I got another truck, another Cascadia, but on day 14 it went down and is still parked at the Freightliner dealer in Jefferson, GA, where it was towed. Luckily, Quality pays for ALL repairs needed for the first 14 days, including the costs of any tow which is necessary. It turned out to be a fuel pressure regulator problem, which prevented the DD15 from doing a regen, rolling or parked. As an aside, watch out for that dealership in Jefferson. I went back to get my truck and discovered they'd broken my mirror and didn't want to tell me. The truck is still there, waiting to be repaired again so I can run AFTER Christmas. Another week lost! But I will say this. I have not had a week that I did not receive a positive amount in my settlement. Watch your fueling, idling, and speed, and you will make money. Don't expect to eat steak every day.

Yes they do. But if you don;t take it all on your next hometime you will lose what you haven't used.

Yes they do, the days you don't use add up. I can bank up to three weeks vacation, but if I'm going t be off more than two weeks I have to turn in my truck

I've tried to keep my eye out for you guys. Send like i see your trucks heavily in the Northeast. Our maybe because I'm there so #### often. XD
I'm with a reefer only outfit right now. Honestly, the fuel discount program is fantastic. And i love having a REAL refrigerator on the truck. But the dispatchers are shady. Loads are always dispatched a day or two after it should have been picked up.
So I'm revisiting my options with Celadon.
But I'm nosey, what kind of money can LEASE PURCHASE make with them?
I'd imagine the cost of fuel is painful on the wallet.
Any words of wisdom from actual LP Celadon drivers?
