Last thought on Sheldon, part of being a good manager is not letting your dealings with one employee affect how you treat the next guy. My observation is that the shop in Sheldon basically treats the driver like a no nothing moron. I'm sure they have bad dealings all the time just like I do on the road, however if I call in I expect to be treated with respect. Bottom line I'm making money for the company they are not. Off to Missouri stay safe everyone.

I don't really have a problem with anyone in sheldon...but then again I live there too....so I get along with everyone....sometimes its just how you approach them....especially when there are trucks broke down on the road or some knuckle head just backed over a pole or something...you never know.....

HA I beat you to MO mushroom...been sitting in concordia since 0130 this morning...getting unloaded now.....:)

Hey Hawk, do you have a can of that Penetrating Oil we get from the shop? Every few months I have trouble getting the jaws to break loose from all of the crud that flies around under there. If you just hose down every moving part up in there it seems to help. May not hurt to have one of the cronies in the wash bay power wash it then give it a good coat of grease & penetrating oil.

Well holy hell, the Gremlin living in my truck strikes again! I dropped off my trailer last night in Omaha & went to bed, then decided to come up to Sheldon today to do my service so I didn't have to mess with it last week. I made it toSalix and my stop engine light came on so I said to hell withit and limped it to KW in Sioux City. I guess they're waiting for parts to come down from Sioux Falls, yes the ones that should've been replaced in Rapid City! Hopefully I can get this done tonight so I can load first thing in the morning then head home for a little bit tomorrow. Arrrrrrrrrrrrrgh!
