Pre-Emission CAT's are good, and the new DD15 is supposed to be the best '10+ engine, but nothing beats the reliability, fuel mileage and cheap repair prices of the old 12.7 Detroits.

I have to concur. Got loaded up right away in Meridian, MS and was headed south on US45 when the MS DOT decided to flag me down. Got a level 2 inspection and passed everything but my log book. I forgot to tally up my hours on 12/3. The graph was drawn and everything was in order, just didn't tally the hours, so he wrote me 4 violations for each line. What a total freaking a-hole. Anyways, I was polite the entire time and when he showed me the violations I asked him if he was really going to give me that even tho I have a spotless record and he told me "keep up on your paperwork and I wouldn't have to" (which he is right) so I explained that it was apparent that people in Mississippi must not be able to count I guess, and on my way I went. SOB !!!!

Watch it there driver!!! Math is my favorite subject. LOL!! especially counting Money.

They are usually pretty laid back.

At least it will not cost you any money. As Miss. does not levy a fine. They only want the violation corrected. Unlike our neighbors in Lousyanna.
