Exactly what I have. 20 ft long lets you go from one side of the trailer, through a tie down lug and over to the other side of the trailer so you get the full WLL of the chain.
-
53 for me. No question. Might as well get a cabover with a 233-ish WB while your at it and you will be all set.
-
On the 48 or 53 i guess its going to depend on what you are doing. If your like cluck and do the most to optimize all your trailer as in ltl then yes 53 but for us we have 48s an a couple 50s and it works great for what we do. Alot of our stuff is roll on roll off or steel.
Lunchbox7159 Thanks this. -
Don't let them sell you a Reitnour just because its a Reitnour.....I pull a 53' because I do a lot of LTL, you need to ##### your needs then choose

I'm gonna do some good homework and go from there. I know Reitnouers are kinda pricey too. When he started on them I felt like he was working on his commission.

If your buying used maybe you could look into Ravens, seems like everything that comes out of that shop is quality.
I'm also a big fan of reitnour trailers as well. -
48 ft. is what i would get. if, if, you do buy a retinour just because it is a retinour, then you must buy a pete, just cause it's a pete.
Cluck Cluck Thanks this. -
I'm glad someone shares my same opinion
