How To Insert Image Into Signature

Wiseone.....after your help and Cyubergal's as you can see I got the image to work in my signature. Can you tell me how to add a glitter image or an animated one? Thanks

I found a hosted picture that I want to use on msm. I cut and pasted it into front page and got the code. for the picture. The problem I get is this
Upload of file failed.
So I saved it to my pictures and tried it that way. The thumb nail comes up but when I go to save the picture I get the message I listed above.

Where's that icon? The photobucket image doesn't exist. And when I get the code where does it go? I can upload a pic, and it displays in the user CP, but not on any posts.

This seems to raise more questions than it answers.

 

ok I've got show signature checked.

I go user cp, then edit signature, then I do not see the icon anywhere.

What's more, if I upload an image from my hard drive, it will be shown in the User CP-edit signature section, but it will not show up in any posts.
