Watching a team trying to slide tandems on the snow packed lot. The snow isn't the problem, the trolly valve won't go down far enough to compensate for the air leak so the wheels are rolling. :tard:

Yeah walcott is way to close to home to do a restart at. That would blow to sit in walcott 1.5 hrs from home.

I have only sat there a few times overnight. Once I was delivering to JD in Moline this summer and I got to Walcott at 3pm and it was 107* outside. Hence why i wanted the hotel room, so i didn't have to idle my truck all night, but that place was a roach-coach and I stayed in my truck. I don't like idling my truck in super heat becasue I don't need the radiator to go out or a hose to pop.... but ya gotta do what ya gotta do. I wish i had seen that other hotel when i came in. At least I know it's there now ;)

It's the comfort inn. right across from the pilot..
Also you can go into Davenport at the Flying J exit and head south. There is a motel there right by the Machine shed rest.
They have trk. parking in the back. Nice size lot. Food is great.. Same people that own Grandma's in Walcott
