Dang that sucks. Hopefully you can get it fixed in the am. Yeah I should have looked in to it more but what the hell can you really mess up in no mans land in NM.

I have a methane gas system that goes to Glendale first which the appt. for the crane in Tues. morning so I have to get to that one first. Then deliver the tractor to Yuma on Tues. afternoon. And then wait for the call to get trucking.

Cluck dont know what way you plan on going from there but you could go 460e down to 58w for a couple miles and take 13s to 32s to 158e and then when you pick up 17s you will be pretty much in eliz city nc and stay in the woods. Miss all the traffic in my area. There are a few stop lights and small towns on 460 but not bad. Ran that road all the time when i was hauling cans.

Sorry to hear about your troubles, there hors, I must have passed you. Had my own problem with NM that almost cost me. I saw the green arrow going to the left thought I was being passed through....came to the stop sign and the written sign to go see the booth. Apparently I was in your lane (oversize) and he informed me that I was speeding...told him since I thought I was being allowed to bypass, I needed to get up to freeway speed... he said nope, you're supposed to do that 20 the whole way.. . :( ... so he said he could give me 2 tickets for them both, and I asked if he needed me to come back around (all the while being polite and using "sir" a lot...it's respectful :D ), and he said don't bother, but next time I will get those tickets. Thanked him, wished him a good day....and booked. whew...

What a way to come back after 11 months off.

Sitting up in Eloy Petro having dinner and trying to figure out how after unloading not having to do a 34 already. :( Only have 2 hours after midnight tomorrow, so the 34 looks likely.

Drive safe, and be careful with NM, :D
