How long I've been waiting for the next avuiable associate to get my pickup information from Schneider Logistics. Christmas music on the soundtrack. Shoot me now.

Still on hold as I got to the shipper but the shipper had my load paperwork handy with my destination so the pu number wasn' necessary. Now its just a quest tp see how long until they answer, lol.

I have unlimited minutes so its not costing me anything.

you know what that is called right ????

When you call the terminal, its "TERMINAL HOLD"

I love it when I call in for payment for tows and stuff and it takes an hour to get ahold of them. After all it is all on hourly rates till I am done and paid... I do not mind sitting on hold, as I am charging between $150 to 300 dollars an hour.

I finally hung up at 1 hr and 41 minutes. I really didn't need them to answer at that point as I was loaded.and ready to roll. The bol has all the info I needed so as far as I know, Schneider doesnt even know this load was picked up. The guys at the shipper werent surprised that I was on hold for so long. A thumbs up to the shipper though. The guy who loaded me told me I could leave the truck in the dock while I got my food when I asked if I could pull out and park in the front and walk across the way to Wendy's. How cool is that?

That's the problem with many in this industry! They put a ZERO value on their time!

That depends on what time the call was made. Day shift DBL hold times are acceptable, but night shift sucks at any company. Never base your job decisions off or someone else's misfortune.

Keep in mind I was on hold with the Schneider Logistics line for outside carriers, not the drivers call in line.
