42k for van is still pretty light. 45-47k are the heavy ones. Those are usually scrap and bottled water, soda, or Gatorade. Scrap or paper rolls same deal. They can put whatever they want on and if I scale and doesn't work out, then they can figure it out before I move. 47k with half tank of fuel too otherwise full tanks and 47k lbs won't work. But 42k lbs is normal and not considered heavy for us really. Lol

I know last time i did a lumber load they had me scale my truck than tell them what i weighed to see if they wanted to add more to it. Only times i ever get asked how much i can haul is lumber loads or drywall. And ussaly they just want to know my empty weight.

Déjà Vu at the same truck stop as Friday night. Same parking spot too. Still cold in southeast Missouri. Low 30's. was hoping it would be a little warmer.
So I get this load and was given delivery of 16:00 on Wednesday, I said ok. FM comes back and asks me when I plan on delivering. I asked what are you talking about? I plan on delivering when I'm supposed too. She comes back saying just checking as it was already late. So when I check in at shipper, Qualcomm comes back with appt change to Thursday at 0900. As of right now I'm less than 600 miles from con.
oops belongs in check in.Last edited: Dec 10, 2012

Thanks. Are there weeks or training pay where a driver will make 400 or less gross? Not just at Roehl, but anywhere?
