If it's bio-diesel it's junk. Plain old diesel should be ok, water from condensation might be a problem.

Got a big(ger) tank...500+ gal...tank to dump it into? You'd prolly never know the difference.

My trucks sit 6 months out of the year full of fuel. Combines sit 10 months. Never had an issue.

Probably for future reference, is someone is going to have diesel sitting around for quite a while, adding a stabilizer like PRI-D is probably a good idea. The other issue with diesel sitting around is the potential for an algae problem. A little pre-emptive addition of some additives to handle any of this probably would be wise and very cost effective.

thanks guys..the fuel is in a transfer tank I got to put in the back of my pick up truck..i am working out of town now and leave my dump truck on the job site and got the tank at a deal... now I just need to find a good cheap pump to go on the tank..any ideas of some good pumps that not 300.00 or higher

if u have a farm store around try checking there...they usually have things like that for farmers

Diesel fuel is very stable, and even the BIO, it can get algae, and or water, keep filter handy, and add Bio fuel to that tank to clean it out.
