I had a winder placed in my belly button, so I'm good to go. I also had one of my coon hounds eyeballs relocated to his butt, so now he can backtrack, too.

Please explain how nosing into a parking spot puts your CDL in jeopardy.....
-
Haven't had a CDL all that long. Started out with a Class A Chauffeur's License.
-
DOT won't let me work without a CDL, nor will they allow me to work without my hood, so I protect them both, equally.
-
The funny part is half of these guys trying to nose in almost take your hood off trying to get in the spot. It is a hoot watching them try to back up. I just don't have time to be sitting there explaining to the county mounty that the swift nascar driver was rounding curve 3 of the pilot at 45 mph and didn't have time to break when I was backing out. Or I didn't see that pedestrian behind me when I was backing up type thing. Too many sue happy people out here. CY bottom my friend. Cover yo bottom. Have a good night.
-
The man who taught me to drive once told me, "If you can't fall asleep when you stop, you haven't been working hard enough."
Keep in mind, he was sleeping while running team with two-stroke Detroits and 1693s under the dog-house.
I rarely idle my truck when I stop to sleep. -
Nosing in is not any more dangerous then anything else. We back up all the time so it is no more dangerous then any other time we back up.
-
Don't want to get in a argument, but if I have to take my break in a truckstop, I will try to find a "nose-in" spot to avoid noise. But only if they present a safe (meaning no one will park behind me) route out. Been driving long enough that I CAN sleep with a noisy truck next to me, but prefer a quieter night.
No way to avoid the "back-up beeper" boys, though.
-
I don't get it. An idling truck next to me helps me sleep better. It drowns out all the other random noises.
-
We're starting to get into hip boot territory, or maybe we should get the chest waders out.
