That's quite a lot of information you gave.
Hmmm...
He signed a contract, so he has to abide by the contract.
Or, get a lawyer to try to get him out of it.
Lots of money either way, it seems. -
First thing i said was its alittle to late to listen to me now.lol

Wow, What does the contract say?
Has he called his assigned dispatch manager?
Does his assigned dispatch manager even know he has a "new driver"?
Too many unanswered questions here to be of any help.
Look at it this way, usually contracts or "agreements", indicate rates per mile, if the truck is not moving, it is not generating any money for the carrier. Carrier in this case appears to be CRST, CRST doesn't sign or have drivers sign contracts to "sit".
Suggest your friend call his dispatcher and then call you, "with the rest of the story", so the rest of us can try to be helpful. Your not being very helpful in seeking a suggestion for your friend.......................
Have a nice day. -

So many newbies with stars in their eyes, wanting to be a trucker. They don't listen to advice, just plow ahead with blinders on. He can bail, but will have the collection agency on his donkey for a few yrs. He needs to tough it out anothe rfew months then move on.
