The grade of washer fluid makes. Huge difference ! The cheap blue stuff , I will buy a bottle of rubbing aclohol . Like rain-x brand best. And I use the Michelin brand wipers. Pricey but work great. Don't forget when hand cleaning windshield take the wet paper towel and wipe the wiper blades edge .
chalupa Thanks this. -
I've never found Wipers that will clean a buggy windshield real good, there's no Substitute for Scrubbing the Windshield good.
I used to buy the Cheap ones at Walmart all the time never had a real problem until I got this stupid truck.
Got some Bosch Brand don't remeber the model or whatever, the wiper arm is metal not plastic.
They're like$10.Haven't had a problem with them. -
I have a problem with the heat under the hood. It seems to change the washer fluid to mostly water. Orange stuff bites too, leaves stains.
Whats a kick butt glass cleaner? -
I like Stoner for a glass cleaner followed by rain x wax.
