Unemployed before going to Prime, will it be an issue?

Exactly. Although I had to get mine notorized for some reason. I'm guessing Prime might be the same way.

However, when I was originally applying to trucking companies I was trying to get with Central Refrig. out of SLC and the letters were not enough. They needed verifiable employment. Therefore I went to Swift.

Check with your company. If they requred the letters they will be easy to get. From what I understand it is more of a federal requirement to basically show you were somewhere during the past few years and you have someone that can verify it.

So I just checked out Prime's application, and they want to know a 10 year employment history! Sheesh! Who remembers all the contacts, addresses, and phone numbers of jobs they had 10 years ago? Hell, half the jobs I've worked in the past 10 years were under the table, and some of the companies have shut down anyway. This is getting to be quite a daunting task.

Ten years if you've been driving for a living. Five years if you haven't. Required by the Feds.
