Oh no, you don't want to go across 70 in Denver. Lots of BIG mountains and that's the snow belt for CO.
To be honest, the fastest route back to Dubuque is to run 15 to 40 over to Tucimcarri and take US54 north to Wichita and up 35. Shorter route and good running. I took that route at least a dozen times so far this year out there and backCAXPT Thanks this. -
Forgot about the south rte..
I mainly look at permmit costs. Good call SHC. -
Its 100 miles longer then going thru denver but only 50 longer then going all the way to 80 huh.

At least some of my posts are helpful and not all full of hot air....... Just some of them tho
volvodriver01 and hors_19 Thank this. -
You probably have a few wheel sets. I've always been made to nail the dunnage down so I use 2x4's. roll on, roll off. Super easy!volvodriver01 and SHC Thank this.

Yes, plus you don't have the large mountains to go over or the ski travelers to deal with. Plus it's mainly flat-land so your fuel mileage is better as well.
this time of year 70 gets closed quite often to trucks due to snow -
Defiantly need to improve fuel mileage. I hope its just cause its new and not how its going to be forever or the ol man will have a heart attack.

Don't you have a load to tarp or something, rather than telling Horsey to run way OOR?
Get back safe Horsey, that's all I have to say. Back to work ya'll.
volvodriver01, SHC and milskired Thank this.
