Okay I know I shouldn't say accidents are funny. And losing your job isn't funny. But something about the entire scene just struck my funny bone. I was in line to get a breakfast item at the McDonald's when I saw the lights of a cop cruiser just past the railroad tracks. A couple people were talking about a big screw up from a truck driver, but I couldn't see what had occurred. After I got my meal and had finished, I walked outside to get a better look. I thought someone had tried to make a U Turn inside the intersection, which would've been very dangerous. Instead, I saw a CRST driver stuck because he had attempted to make a U Turn inside the very narrow frontage road! So they had the northbound ramp closed off while I stood there staring and smiling at the image of a truck jack-knifed with the cab in the dirt on one end and the tandems in the dirt on the other. I wish I had taken a picture. I can't imagine what had been going through this guy's mind. Hopefully he still kept his job, but I thought I had seen some amusing accidents driving for Swift.
Rather funny accident outside of Laredo Pilot

What was strange about that incident, is that the student was in the sleeper & the trainer was driving, when the incident occurred.
walstib, double_r, Red Hot Mess and 1 other person Thank this. -
At what point did he think..."hey, I can make this still."
Or
"I think I f'ed up" -
Seen a lot of this with new drivers. Some think they can make it then get stuck. I feel bad for em cause 9 times out of ten it is a newbie with a trainer mentally asleep.
Ya cant do this folks,,lmao

CRST: Crash & Rollover Stunt Team, a.k.a. big bunch of poorly trained idiots.

Not good, I've come close to that happening once or twice.

Rule of thumb...NEVER put your truck someplace you can't see your way out of.
Better to pay a $50 ticket for blocking traffic than a $5000 bill for towing or a wreck. -
Or what order did he say those?!
