You are correct. They are a priority and the financial aspect is one of the reasons why Maverick is at the top. I have spotted a couple of Maverick trucks in my area recently. Just to satisfy my curiosity of the freight lanes in my area, I chatted with a recruiter last week. I asked the question pointedly about the freight in my area and was told that here recently freight has slowed down a bit in my area (to be expected) but there is still freight out there in my area and there didn't seem to be any issues with getting me home. I know how recruiters are so I took it with a grain of salt but I have done a lot of research and have seen that Maverick is a stand up company and do what they can to get you home.
One of the things that stands out to me by reading the Maverick posts on here is every driver seems to truly enjoy this company and that is something that is not heard of often these days even outside the trucking world. I look forward to joining your ranks and be called a Maverick. I believe that an organization that can maintain the respect of their drivers as Maverick has seemingly done is the place for my next career.
When the time comes I will be sure to start my "Headed to Little Rock" post.
Thanks JXU for the opinion and thank you for your support.
Maverick is at the top of a very short list!!
