900,000-tons-of-steel Thanks this. -
Just like a FAST card doesn't count as a form of ID to verify your ID for HAZ-MAT licensing even though that background check for FAST is more strict (no convictions for ANYTHING, and can never have been infront of a judge for ANYTHING accept parking/low speed speeding ticket)
bikertrash61 Thanks this. -
I have been to Meat Packers that wont take a TWIC card for ID....thank god I never invested in one.....
-
Ya its just a flash pass at the port. The Oakland terminals don't even make an effort to verify that's you on the TWIC. I forgot which terminal in LA/Long Beach actually makes you do I index finger scan to match you to your TWIC card but that's only one out of all the west coast terminals.

Tou use the TWIC card here to renew the Sea Link card. All the PANYNJ terminals have readers for that instead...

So reading that the DOD says this, I'm sure they will be reimbursing all the drivers that wasted their time and money getting one......and then I woke up!
