I am new to this site but have been driving for going on 15 years. The last 12 years on and off I have spent team driving with my husband . There have been times that he was home and I ran as a solo driver. Now it is my turn. I have been home since august and will be back on the truck Jan. 5 2013. Believe it or not I'm really excited I have missed the road. The stars in New Mexico, the sun rise in Needles. I know and I'm sure the rest of y'all do too that after so many trips acrossed I-40 it all starts to become old and the burn out startes. I needed the break badly I was so feed up with the industry as a whole ,DOT,DAC,CSA just made me want to throw my hands up. I had forgotten the fun and excitment from 15 years ago. I guess my being here on this site is just a way to stay in touch with the industry that I NOW miss so much. I want to try and help those headed into it and those just like me who are so tired of all the stuff and who have forgotten. It can be and is an amazing job as long as you remember all those things you loved about it at the start.
