straight pipes?

the guy is upset that they turn up the idel. really they get alittle quiter when you turn the idel up a hair. takes out that lob sound and smoothes it out. has on every truck i have ever seen with or with out pipes....lol

 

you should be able to get them for your pipes. all it is is a slip in muffler they make the for 5,6,8,9,10,12 inch pipes. just slide it down in rebolt and good to go. dot approved as to your idea yea a old muffler under the truck slide in a straigh piece of pipe to keep it straight and keep your tune.....

My truck isn't super loud but does have a good rumble, and if I need to idle to be comfortable I'm going to, if you don't like it then tough ####! Man up and deal with or go find an office job...

 

That is what I like about the new rig. Nice quiet exhaust. Last truck rumbled no matter what with its cat.

So next time a truck is nosed in with his trailer blocking your view while you sit in the seat so he or she can get away from your loud exhaust then you should not really have a problem with it other then it being a personal issue.

You should not have any issues with the no engine braking signs that are being put up a mile outside most city limits also. Say like on I94 in North Dakota as you come into Valley City from the East or West or say when entering Fargo ND on I29.
